Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Calos, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Calos is a calorie and nutrition tracking app with AI-powered meal scanning. The service is available on iOS, with a companion website for account management and subscriptions.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Calos.
• You may maintain one account per person.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Account creation requires a valid email address or Apple Sign In.

Calos offers a free tier with limited AI features. Paid plans are available via Apple In-App Purchase on iOS and via Razorpay on the web and on Android.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's or Razorpay's refund policies, depending on where the subscription was purchased.

You agree not to:

• Misuse or abuse the AI scanning feature.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or similar means to access the service.
• Upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content.

AI-generated nutrition estimates are approximate and may be inaccurate. They are intended for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice.

Calos is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

All content, design, and code in Calos are owned by Calos and protected by intellectual property laws. The food database is proprietary.

You retain ownership of the personal data you log in the app.

Calos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for inaccurate nutrition estimates, loss of data, or service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
